Objects with minute dimensions whose material surfaces give unexpected textures and soft geometries. After the vases, ashtrays, candle holders and candlesticks presented last March, the Incisioni Collection is now enhanced by two new table lamps — Haute and Petite — for a collection in which contemporary shapes and colours gracefully reinterpret the tradition of Murano glass.
The new lamps Haute and Petite
Created in two sizes — the larger Haute (diameter 76 x height 133mm) designed as a rechargeable lamp, the smaller Petite (diameter 60 x height 80mm) with cable — the two new lamps press forward with Peri’s research around the theme of glass engraving.
Banding, pleating, ribbed excavations cover the surfaces of these two lamps, softening their cylindrical shape — interrupted only by the bases in brushed aluminium — giving life to three different models: Silk characterized by delicate vertical banding culminating in the slightly concave upper surface, Doll composed of one smooth half and the other half crossed by a thick knurling, Stripe is covered in thick horizontal lines.
A detail of this collection of lamps is the presence of the internal iris obtained by alternating different layers of colour for a murrina effect which, once illuminated, creates a very interesting effect, “As if there was a soul suspended inside,” to use Peri’s own words.
Two sizes and three models, therefore, for a collection of gentle lamps with an unmistakable design made even more special by the three selected colours: crystal, smoke, rosé.
