To celebrate the centenary of activity, the historic Lombard company Giovanardi – specialized in the design and production of displays, installations, shop windows and shop-in-shops – opens its production areas to the public for 10×100 Contemporary Art Factory exhibition: a new project born after a period of residences of ten mid-career artists.
Alessandro Agudio, “Tipo Vespasiano is the metaphoric veneer of a quasi performative aesthetic invention” / “Club-2B Barely a Boy” 10×100 Giovanardi, ph. Andrea Rossetti
Selected by curators Martina Cavallarin andMarco Tagliafierro, the artists have been invited and involved in the company between February and July 2019 to work in close dialogue with the technicians, taking advantage of all the know-how of the company for the creation of works of art.
The artists are: Alessandro Agudio, Marie Denis, Marotta & Russo, Jacopo Mazzetti, Daniele Milvio, Gianni Moretti, Riccardo Paratore, Riccardo Previdi, Michele Spanghero and Patrick Tuttofuoco.

The works created are exhibited in the same context where they were conceived, alongside modern machinery and pieces of industrial archeology, developing an unusual and evocative exhibition itinerary. At the end of the exhibition the works will remain the property of the artists, in line with the patronage that has fueled the whole project: supporting the artists through the production of their works enhancing the dialogue between two worlds, that of culture and that of business, seemingly distant.
