ASCOLTO DUNQUE SONO (I LISTEN, THEREFORE I AM), the title of the sixth edition of “Future Landscapes at the Vigne Museum” scheduled for Saturday 27 November at 3 pm at the Vigne Museum and to follow [from 4 pm] at the Abbazia di Rosazzo (Udine) dedicated to the publishing project NO MAN’S BOOK / Il libro di tutti (PAOLO EDIZIONI), the series of artist books produced by the Foundation of the same name with the preview presentation of the latest volume ASCOLTO (LISTEN) by the artist Liliana Moro and edited by Cecilia Casorati.
Created to spread works of art before an attentive public interested in contemporary art, each publication of No Man’s Book involves the participation of a single artist left free to use the spaces of the publication as if it were an exhibition space. A personal exhibition in the form of a book. In addition to the new work by Liliana Moro, the series includes artist books by Yona Friedman, Jimmie Durham and Maria Thereza Alves, all edited by Lorenzo Benedetti.
Developed in collaboration with RAM radioartemobile and with the No Man’s Land Foundation, The 2021 edition of Future Landscapes thus confirms the interdisciplinary nature of the Vigne Museum, once again involving important exponents of the world of art and culture to reflect on current issues related to society and environmental issues with particular attention to the relationship between man and nature. Art and science as the driving force for possible future scenarios of growth and social awareness.
Taking part in the meeting: Liliana Moro (artist), Cecilia Casorati (President of the Academy of Fine Arts, Rome and curator of contemporary art), Dora Stiefelmeier (Scientific committee of the No Man’s Land Foundation), Isabella and Tiziana Pers (artistsand founders of RAVE East Village Artists Residency), Leonardo Caffo (philosopher). Edoardo Vigna (editor-in-chief of Corriere della Sera and responsible for the Planet 2021 insert) will open a discourse dedicated to the environmental cause and the relationship between man and nature in continuity with the other panels organized at the Vigne Museum.

The programme of activities will begin at 3pm at Vigne Museum with a welcome greeting from Elda Felluga (President of the Vigne Museum Cultural Association) followed by a visit to the artistic-architectural structure built in 2014 by the architect Yona Friedman with the artist Jean-Baptiste Decavèle. The Vigne Museum, dedicated to Livio Felluga for his hundredth birthday, is an ideal museum dedicated to the vine and the landscape, located among the historic vineyards of Rosazzo, in the heart of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, a short distance from the striking Benedictine Abbey that dominates the surrounding landscape as far as the sea.
It is precisely in the conference room of the Abbazia di Rosazzo (Udine) that at 2pm the public meeting ASCOLTO DUNQUE SONO will begin, ending the day at 18.00 a few kilometres away, in the Borgo di Soleschiano (UD) with a viewing of IN ONDA, a project by Liliana Moro realized this year at RAVE East Village Artist Residency. The artist will be present.
The conference will be preceded on Friday 26 November, again in the Sala delle Palme of the Rosazzo Abbey, by an encounter with the journalist and writer Eliana Liotta who will present her latest book “Il cibo che ci salverà” (Food That Will Save Us), published by La Nave di Teseo, on the occasion of the artistic exhibition curated by Margherita Reguitti “I Colloqui dell ‘Abbazia. The journey of Livio Felluga’s geographical map”.
