From a meeting in Venice, thanks to the two studios’ shared passion for Murano glass, it was a short step to supporting Paritzki & Liani’s product design activities. Collaborations with new companies, well-thought-out communication tools and constant support in the development of new furniture projects are now the basis of a collaborative dialogue aimed at enhancing P&L’s design capital beyond architecture.

Paritzki & Liani Architects is an architecture firm based in Tel Aviv and Ischia, founded by Paola Liani and Itai Paritzki. Paritzki & Liani is the product branch of P&L A.
Since the studio was founded in 2001, each project has been functional in building an atlas of architectures as dissimilar to each other as the mineral and vegetal nature of the places is varied.
P&L’s approach to product design is no exception, representing a sort of small rebellion against the “prohibition of the difficult”, operating at the limits of production feasibility, whether it be Murano glass or the weaving of fine fabrics in the creation of carpets or ceramics…
The continuous shifting of the boundary between design and technical experience during the transformative process is fundamental to defining P&L’s design approach: open to experimentation but meticulous in compositional detail.
