The active and constant dialogue between AtemporaryStudio and RAM radioartemoboile has fuelled the Studio’s art advisor activities for over twenty years. One of the projects that has most closely united the two is D/A/C Denominazione Artistica Condivisa, a registered trademark aimed at investigating the fascinating and stimulating relationship between art and business. Conceived by RAM, this initiative was organised over the course of the various editions thanks to the curatorship and participation of Giovanna Felluga as moderator of most of the meeting tables.
In early 2012, Mario Pieroni and Dora Stiefelmeier – founders of RAM radioartemobile, a platform for contemporary art dedicated to sound research and exhibitions – developed the idea of organising conversation tables between artists and producers to make the business world aware of the need to become an active reference point for artists, opening the doors of their companies and production chain. The aim is to encourage stimulating, unconventional and enriching interactions as a source of development and innovation in one’s own production environment. From 2012 to 2017, 20 round tables were held in international museums, contemporary art events and within institutions representing the business and economic world.
The collaboration with RAM radioartemobile began in 2003, the year the platform was founded, when AtemporaryStudio had not yet been established, thanks to Giovanna Felluga’s work in Rome in the role of gallery assistant and contact person for collectors and investors. The many artists with whom it has worked include: Carla Accardi, Maria Thereza Alves, Getulio Alviani, Gianfranco Baruchello, Jean-Baptiste Decavèle, Jimmie Durham, Marco Fedele di Catrano, Yona Friedman (architect), Rainer Ganahl, Alberto Garutti, Dan Graham, Fabrice Hyber, Jannis Kounellis, Vettor Pisani, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Daniele Puppi, Gert Robijns, and Donatella Spaziani.
