ITALESSE

client: Italesse srl
corporate communication, media relations: AtemporaryStudio
PR: AtemporaryStudio
period: 2008 — ongoing

Invited to handle Italesse’s external communication, press office and media relations when it opened to the retail market in 2008, AtemporaryStudio has subsequently worked alongside the glassware company at key moments such as the launches and presentations of new collections or innovative products (Horizon, Warmwood, Optimum, Timber…), gradually extending its range of activities to the current corporate communication aimed at reinforcing the network of collaborations and partnerships at national and international level.

Founded in 1979, Italesse soon recognized the importance of combining technical efficiency and design in the creation of professional items destined to enhance wines and other beverages. This led to the development of the first products that brought the company to the attention of renowned wine and champagne producers followed decade after decade by collections that were increasingly attentive to the form/function combination. An approach that led to the first collaborations with important designers — Luca Nichetto, Todd Bracher, Claesson Koivisto Rune just to name a few — international sommeliers and bartenders for increasingly high-performance collections, leading the company to opening itself to the Horeca and Retail markets.
Recently, Italesse has further expanded its professional expertise in the world of wine with the new Senses Project and with it the launch of the sensory stem glasses as opposed to the universal and the varietal glasses, the project Senses continues to grow as well as its ‘spin-off’, the T-Made Lab, born to create stem glasses tailored to specific production areas or specific wine labels. T-Made 55 is born, created for the Vermentino di Sardegna and Gallura wines; T-made 70, the official stem glass of the Brunello di Montalcino Consortium and T-made 75, the Barolo stem glass by Italesse, soon become a best seller.

With the ultimate goal of combining the emotional side with technical and qualitative excellence in tasting — translated into products made from the best crystal-clear, lead-free, highly refractive glass for extraordinary transparency — the company is also committed to pursuing a strong policy of environmental sustainability with research into new eco-sustainable materials (tubs and buckets made from recycled materials and the use of natural fibres) and a circular economy model.
Last but not least, Italesse is the only stemware manufacturer that offers many of its models in both Xtreme, machine-blown, and Leggerissimi versions, i.e., mouth-blown and handcrafted of the latest generation.

October 2025: Italesse introduces the T-made 76 AV, the Amarone della Valpolicella glass

Presented to the press and a select group of restaurateurs and wine professionals during two days of events (September 29–30) held at the historic Antica Bottega del Vino in Verona, the new T-made 76 AV glass by Italesse further enhances the brand’s commitment to celebrating Italy’s finest wines — a journey Italesse began years ago with its Senses Project. Following the T-made 70, the official glass of the Brunello di Montalcino Consortium, and the T-made 75, designed to best highlight the nuances of Barolo, this latest creation completes the trilogy of iconic Italian reds, ambassadors of Italian savoir-faire in winemaking, with a tribute to Amarone della Valpolicella, an iconic, complex wine rich in nuances.
